Culverhay school to close ?

“It is good that the consultation on schools in Bath has happened, but it is very worrying that the cabinet member has not kept to the original proposal to retain a coeducational school on the South of Bath. The Lib Dems have always supported the location of a school on the current Culverhay site, and are now deeply concerned about the provision of education for children in the South West of the city.

“It is a relief, however, to see that the cabinet member is willing to get tough with Oldfield school over going coeducational; Oldfield having refused to participate in the consultation.”
